TEAMWORK ANALYSIS

Wei, here are some observations about your participation and communication during Play: You consistently show a high level of engagement and enthusiasm. You actively voice your thoughts and contribute to team strategy by giving precise instructions, such as ¡°Do you think we should make more crafting sessions?¡± This shows you¡¯re attentive and ready to improve the game. As you continue practicing these skills outside of the session, consider balancing your directives with more collaborative dialogue. Phrases like ¡°What do you think if we try this?¡± can encourage more input from your teammates, ensuring everyone feels heard and valued. Your communication is clear and often focused on providing specific directions, like ¡°Send it to the claw, please,¡± which helps in guiding your team effectively. To enhance this further, try incorporating more context with your commands. For instance, explaining the reasoning behind a strategy can help everyone understand the bigger picture. As you continue developing this skill, ensuring your tone remains positive and encouraging, even in high-pressure moments, will help in maintaining team morale and cohesion. By doing so, you'll not only improve the gameplay but also foster a supportive and cooperative team environment.

COMMUNICATION METRICS

On your journey to make any team you join better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways.

Last week's theme was "Punishment Fits the Crime." Rules and laws help keep everyone safe and make sure we get along. Break a rule; get a punishment. But what if it's not black and white? What if it's a mistake? Should context matter?

No right or wrong answers; just interesting conversations with kids from around the world.

COMMUNICATION ANALYSIS

Wei, here are some observations about your communication during last week's Discussion: Your communication skills show great potential, particularly in the area of active listening. For instance, you often acknowledge your teammates' points with responses, which shows you are engaged and attentive to the conversation. Another strength is your empathy, as shown when you said, ¡°I mean, it doesn't make sense to punish a person who has a family emergency.¡± This demonstrates your ability to consider others' feelings and situations, which is a valuable skill in any discussion. However, there are some areas where you could improve. Sometimes, your responses such as ¡°Thank you,¡± and ¡°Oh,¡± are too brief and do not clearly convey your thoughts or contribute much to the discussion. A useful strategy could be to expand on your points with more detailed explanations or evidence. For example, when you said, ¡°Like that doesn't make any sense,¡± you might explore why it doesn't make sense by giving a specific reason. Also, increasing your participation and providing more detailed input will help you express your ideas better and make your arguments stronger. Keep up the good work, and consider these tips to take your communication to the next level!
