TEAMWORK ANALYSIS

Yueyi, here are some observations about your participation and communication during Play: You have shown consistent engagement in your sessions and have made important contributions to your team's efforts. For example, your suggestion, ¡°I think next time we can change our strategy because we only have two weeks this time,¡± shows that you are thinking critically about how your team can improve. Your reflective and strategic thinking is a strong asset and helps keep your team on track. To further enhance your involvement, consider sharing your ideas more frequently and initiating more discussions. This will not only help in shaping team strategies but also ensure that your voice is heard consistently. Your communication is clear, supportive, and you often encourage your teammates, as seen when you said, ¡°Okay guys, remember don't flip.¡± You ask relevant questions like, ¡°What do you mean?¡± and share useful suggestions, which strengthens the overall team dynamic. You can keep refining this skill by providing more context and detailed reasoning behind your suggestions, like when you proposed, ¡°I think we should do some fundraisers.¡± Expanding on these ideas will help your teammates understand your perspective better and improve collaboration. Keep up the good work, and try to articulate your thoughts even more clearly to enhance team understanding.

COMMUNICATION METRICS

On your journey to make any team you join better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways.

Last week's theme was "Needs or Wants?" Considering the differences between 'needs' and 'wants' can help us make smarter decisions. The scenarios this week are fictional, as always. But the concept is as real as it gets.

No right or wrong answers; just interesting conversations with kids from around the world.

COMMUNICATION ANALYSIS

Yueyi, here are some observations about your communication during last week's Discussion: You did a great job of acknowledging your teammates' contributions by saying, ¡°Thank you very much.¡± This shows that you value their input, which helps build a positive team atmosphere. However, you might consider speaking more to share your own ideas, so everyone hears more of your thoughts. Your efforts to relate your ideas to those of your teammates are commendable. For example, when you said, ¡°Some things for the poor and just like you guys said yeah first I will do this and then I will just think of that,¡± it showed you were trying to build on what others were saying. To make your points stronger, you might explore being more clear and focused in your statements. Sometimes, you trailed off mid-sentence, like, ¡°think of that... Just you let the others learn... to learn something new, not only focus on... okay, okay.¡± Making sure you finish your thoughts clearly will help everyone understand your ideas better.

Anyone who¡¯s on the path toward becoming a Supercollaborator is able to keep improving their skills and making course corrections. We look forward to seeing you at future Play + Discussion sessions, and we¡¯ll continue giving you feedback on your teamwork and communication skills.
