Monthly Feedback Report for Winston
On your journey to make any team you join better, you¡¯ll practice excellent
behaviors that enhance your teamwork.
This week's theme is
disruption communication. Good communication is easy when things feel calm, but when the pressure goes up our communication can become chaotic.
We'll explore techniques to help keep teams focused, calm, and in control as we play
Hyperball. Check out the
Synthesis Mission Brief for a preview of what to expect in Play this week.

Winston, here are some observations about your participation and communication during Play:
During the sessions you attended recently, you spoke very minimally with only a few interjections and short phrases. We noticed that the voice graph indicates you spoke about 15% of the time you were in the session; however, upon review we realized this was due to background noise picked up by your mic. Due to this, we are unable to offer you a comprehensive analysis on your current strengths and weaknesses in working effectively with a team. We encourage you to more actively participate and communicate with your teammates in upcoming sessions to ensure that we are able to provide you with insights about these aspects of your collaborative skills.
We hope to see you in a Play session soon!
Observations based on your participation in Play sessions in 2 of
the past 4 weeks.
On your journey to make any team you join better, you¡¯ll practice how to
effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion sessions are carefully
designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical
communication skills in various ways.
Last week's theme was
"Incentives." What truly drives people to take action? Is it recognition, a prize, or the thrill of experience? What kind of reward works best when the stakes are high¨Cand what kind of incentive do you personally prefer?
No right or wrong answers; just interesting conversations with kids from
around the world.
Communication in Discussions sessions
Winston's % of time speaking average each session.
Reflection for Winston: How does your voice % compare to the
average?
You spoke very minimally during the Discussion sessions you attended last week, with only a few interjections and short phrases. Due to this, we are unable to offer you a comprehensive analysis of your strengths and areas for growth in communication.
We encourage you to more actively participate and communicate with your team in upcoming Discussion sessions so that we are able to provide you with insights about your communication skills. If you are unsure what to say, we would encourage you to ask your teammates questions to learn more about how they voted and what they think. You could also volunteer to read some of the slides aloud for your team.
We hope to see you in a Discussion session soon!
Anyone who¡¯s on the path toward becoming a Supercollaborator is able to keep
improving their skills and making course corrections. We look forward to
seeing you at future Play + Discussion sessions, and we¡¯ll continue giving you
feedback on your teamwork and communication skills.
