Monthly Feedback Report for Charley
On your journey to make any team you join better, you¡¯ll practice excellent
behaviors that enhance your teamwork.
This week's theme is
the purpose of practice. They say practice makes perfect, but maybe the better question is
'Can your practice be perfect?'
You'll have two chances to play each map in the playlist. Will you make the most of your practice as you play for the
Hyperball trophy? Check out the
Synthesis Mission Brief for a preview of what to expect in Play this week.

Charley, here's what we observed about your teamwork skills during Play: You show strong goal-oriented collaboration skills, especially in motivation and strategic planning. Phrases like, "Guys, pass it to the goals in the corners," reflect your ability to direct and assign roles to teammates. Telling you teammates what you plan to do, like when you said "I'm gonna work on sponges," demonstrates initiative and a focus on team objectives. We also noticed you did a good job responding to teammates. For instance, when a teammate said, "Someone go in the circle," you replied, "Yes, I am in the circle." Why is that important? Because it shows you were listening actively and lets your team know what to expect. Nice job! Keep up the great work in motivating your team and sharing your ideas!
Observations based on your participation in Play sessions in 3 of
the past 4 weeks.
On your journey to make any team you join better, you¡¯ll practice how to
effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion sessions are carefully
designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical
communication skills in various ways.
Last week's theme was selected by our students themselves:
"The Fermi Paradox." Each scenario took a deeper dive into the search for extraterrestrial life, including what message humans might send, what impacts alien discovery might have, and even what defines ¡°life¡± itself.
No right or wrong answers; just interesting conversations with kids from
around the world.

average?
Productive communication and effective teamwork go hand in hand. Because you were unable to attend a Discussion session last week, we can¡¯t provide a current analysis of your strengths and areas for growth in your communication skills, including active listening and clarity of expression. To ensure our feedback is timely and relevant, we focus on your most recent conversations during Discussions. Feedback on conversations you had two or three weeks ago may not be as effective in helping you grow.
In Discussion sessions, you¡¯ll learn how to craft an educated opinion and express it civilly to peers from around the globe. We encourage you to attend upcoming sessions so we can help you develop your communication skills further.
This week¡¯s theme is ¡°Right of Way.¡± Making decisions is easier when one option is bad, or wrong, or unethical. It¡¯s much harder when both options are good, and right, and ethical. In that case, how do we decide between two noble paths?
We hope you can join the conversation!
Anyone who¡¯s on the path toward becoming a Supercollaborator is able to keep
improving their skills and making course corrections. We look forward to
seeing you at future Play + Discussion sessions, and we¡¯ll continue giving you
feedback on your teamwork and communication skills.
