Hi David,

On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion Sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways. Last week, you considered real-world examples of irreversible decisions in the worlds of music, art, business, and technology. What happened to people and businesses who crossed the point of no return?

Here¡¯s some feedback on how you used your voice in the Discussion Sessions you attended:

Communication Analysis
David, during the recent Discussion sessions we made some observations we would like to share with you about your communication abilities.

Your ability to communicate clearly and build upon points made by others in the group has been consistently demonstrated in our sessions. In your recent session statements, "Yeah, I know it's invisible, but the most important point is the study of black holes, right?" you showed you were able to both listen to the opinions of your teammates and articulate your thoughts clearly.

Active participation and listening are crucial for group discussions, and you've exhibited growth in these areas. You asked for clarification of a peer's perspective when you said, "Yeah, but would you never play sports?" That shows you are paying attention and listening carefully.

Additionally, empathy and the ability to understand others' perspectives are evident in your discussions. Phrases like "Yeah, soil, water, and air can make trees grow" show you are considering broad impacts and perspectives. This echoes your previous strength in weighing advantages and disadvantages for your peers. I encourage you to continue these efforts and perhaps intensify them by asking more probing questions to delve deeper into your peers' viewpoints. Strengthening this aspect of your communication will not only display your empathy but also actively enhance the group dynamic.

Anyone who knows how to make any team they¡¯re on better is able to keep improving their skills and correcting their errors. We look forward to seeing you at future Discussion Sessions and we¡¯ll continue giving you feedback on how you¡¯ve progressed in using your voice.
