Hi Xinlv,
On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion Sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways. Last week, you explored the trade-offs between immediate benefits and long-term advantages and how decisions today can shape the world of tomorrow.
Here¡¯s some feedback on how you used your voice in the Discussion Sessions you attended:

Communication Analysis
Xinlv, during the recent Discussion sessions we made some observations we would like to share with you about your communication abilities.
In the most current session, you displayed the use of short sentences when expressing your choices. While this shows you can communicate your decisions, there seems to be room for growth in providing clearer explanations for your choices so that your peers can understand your reasoning. Further development in verbally articulating your thought process will aid your teammates in grasping the full picture of your ideas. In previous sessions, you asked your teammates for help, which is positive, but continuing to work on the clarity of your contributions will enhance the group's comprehension and the overall dialogue.
Your ability to pay attention to the discussion is evident, yet your interactions are brief, hinting at a need to more actively engage with your teammates' ideas. Constructively building upon what others contribute, as mentioned in the previous analysis, could still be improved. Statements that echo empathy and perspective-taking, like sharing your cultural viewpoint ¡ª "So most Chinese people practice autism... So we are likely to choose long-term benefits more than short term benefits" ¡ª are examples of sharing your unique perspective. To deepen the interactions, consider demonstrating how you are processing what others are sharing by responding with statements that reflect an understanding of their comments.
There was an absence of you posing questions in the latest session, making it difficult to gauge your questioning skills in engaging with your teammates' thoughts. Building on suggestions from the previous session, try incorporating questions that delve into the ideas connected with the discussion, which will not only show that you are listening but also that you are thinking critically about the subject. Your growth lies in your vocal participation, and by focusing on these areas, you will likely contribute more effectively to your group's collaborative efforts.
Anyone who knows how to make any team they¡¯re on better is able to keep improving their skills and correcting their errors. We look forward to seeing you at future Discussion Sessions and we¡¯ll continue giving you feedback on how you¡¯ve progressed in using your voice.
