Hi Charley,
On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion Sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways. Last week, you considered the question:
'What matters most?' From balancing ethics and profits in the business world to ensuring safety while confronting bullies, you were asked to rank your priorities. No right or wrong answers; just interesting conversations with kids from around the world.
Here¡¯s some feedback on how you used your voice in the Discussion Sessions you attended:

Communication Analysis
Charley, during the recent Discussion sessions we made some observations we would like to share with you about your communication abilities.
Your ability to communicate your passion about specific topics, particularly the environment, is clear. You have an aptitude for emphasizing the importance of these issues with statements like, "I'll do everything. I'll do anything to save the environment." This direct approach in communication is a strength as it leaves little doubt about your priorities. However, your messaging can sometimes become repetitive, such as when you repeated affirmatives in "Yes, personal comfort, yes. And being close to your family, yes." This is an area for growth; try to unify similar thoughts to enhance the clarity of your message. Your previous session showed a significant aptitude for detailed reasoning when discussing topics that are complex, so bringing this same level of detail into discussions about your personal commitments can help you share your ideas effectively.
In terms of engaging with your peers, you demonstrate a good base of active participation by responding directly to their ideas. We noted this when you said, "No, no, environment is most important." However, there is room to progress in building more collaborative dialogue. Though you've shown the ability to listen, an effort to encourage further discussion rather than only declaring your viewpoint would be beneficial. In your previous session, there was an indication of improvement in listening and integrating responses, so continuing to build upon others' ideas can foster an even more inclusive atmosphere in your discussions.
Finally, your use of questions to drive conversations has been quite effective, as seen in the instance where you asked, "Challenge question, what is the ultimate outcome you're hoping for?" These types of inquiries not only further the dialogue but also allow for deeper understanding among teammates. Comparatively, in previous discussions, you effectively used questions to enhance the analytical nature of the conversation. Continuing to employ this method, combined with maintaining a stance of empathy as you have in the past, can significantly enrich the quality of your interactions with peers.
Anyone who knows how to make any team they¡¯re on better is able to keep improving their skills and correcting their errors. We look forward to seeing you at future Discussion Sessions and we¡¯ll continue giving you feedback on how you¡¯ve progressed in using your voice.
