Hi Martin,
On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion Sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways. Last week, you practiced
thinking ahead to achieve positive solutions to real-life problems. Lasting solutions require multiple steps, so you needed to discuss the through-lines to choose the best path to reach the desired solution. How did you do? No right or wrong answers, just interesting conversations with kids from around the world.
Here¡¯s some feedback on how you used your voice in the Discussion Sessions you attended:

Communication Analysis
Martin, during the recent Discussion sessions we made some observations we would like to share with you about your communication abilities.
In expressing your thoughts, you demonstrate a balance of personal clarity and engaging prompts. Your conveyance of personal preferences like, "I'm a vegetarian, so I will just boil the potatoes. It's my favorite snack," offers a glimpse into your personality and can foster relatability among your peers. However, some of your inputs, such as "Not me," came across as somewhat detached or unclear in how they related to the main discussion points. Striving for greater consistency in clarity and relevance will enhance the overall productivity and coherence of group dialogues.
You actively contribute to maintaining group dynamics through your responses and acknowledgments. For example, you said, "Yeah, I don't use discussion that much, but then I like discussions more than games," which reflects your engagement and the sharing of your preferences.
When framing questions and considering perspectives, you pose both thought-provoking and diverse inquiries, such as, "What's your favorite game and why?" These questions encourage participation and can drive the conversation forward. Furthermore, your ability to share personal alignments helps create a relatable environment. Focusing on explicitly validating your peers¡¯ feelings or ideas will enhance empathetic communication and enrich the shared group experience.
Anyone who knows how to make any team they¡¯re on better is able to keep improving their skills and correcting their errors. We look forward to seeing you at future Discussion Sessions and we¡¯ll continue giving you feedback on how you¡¯ve progressed in using your voice.
