Hi Kally,

On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice how to effectively communicate with everyone. Our Discussion Sessions are carefully designed to provide opportunities for you to practice these critical communication skills in various ways.

Last week, you examined scenarios in which small changes can make or break the end result. In Synthesis and in the real world, what small change can have the biggest impact? No right or wrong answers, just interesting conversations with kids from around the world.

Here¡¯s some feedback on how you used your voice in the Discussion Sessions you attended:

Communication Analysis
Kally, during the recent Discussion sessions we made some observations we would like to share with you about your communication skills.

Your contributions are clear and to the point. For example, you said, "I think it's number one," and "I think it's books." This clarity helps everyone to stay focused and on topic. It was also great to see how you used questions to help steer the conversation, like when you asked, ¡°Which of these will you pick?" This shows your initiative and ability to engage others in the conversation.

However, we've noticed that you've spoken very minimally, providing only a few interjections and short phrases. To get the most out of these discussions and improve your communication skills, consider speaking more often. You might explore asking your teammates questions about their thoughts or volunteering to read some slides aloud. This will not only increase your participation but also allow us to give you more feedback on your strengths and areas for improvement.

We look forward to seeing more of your active contributions in future sessions!

Anyone who knows how to make any team they¡¯re on better is able to keep improving their skills and correcting their errors. We look forward to seeing you at future Discussion Sessions and we¡¯ll continue giving you feedback on how you¡¯ve progressed in using your voice.
