Hi Jiaxun,
On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice excellent behaviors that enhance your teamwork. You've attended Play in 1 of the last 3 weeks.
Here¡¯s some feedback on your teamwork in that time:
|
You contribute 0% of your teams¡¯ points.
On a team, what contribution should each teammate be making?
|
|
You contribute 16% of your teams¡¯ actions.

If you notice that some of your teamwork data is missing or showing at 0%, it is because you have yet to attend and participate in recent PLAY sessions for this game. We look forward to providing you with updated teamwork data as you attend more sessions in the future.

Teamwork Analysis
Jiaxun, the graphs above show different ways that you have contributed to and coordinated with your teams in the various games. In addition to that data, we have noticed that you have demonstrated glimpses of leadership and an understanding of the necessity for group cohesion, as seen when you offered specific directions to your teammates such as, "Here's the plan. I'm going to make batteries, as much as I can," and "You guys make iron balls, OK?" However, there are opportunities for you to work on your precision in communication to avoid confusion such as "Quick iron balls you guys," and improve on expressing your ideas in a way that invites discussion and collaboration. It's also important for you to practice patience and to work on providing clear and positive guidance even in stressful moments, steering away from potentially frustration-induced comments like "You just wasted a chance."
Your ability to adapt to different team roles and the degree to which you incorporate feedback from teammates has not been clearly demonstrated in the sessions. For example, some comments suggest a fixed approach to your role within the team rather than showing flexibility in response to changing game dynamics or teammate input. To enhance your role adaptability, consider asking for your teammates' thoughts on strategy and showing willingness to adjust your actions based on their input. Even a simple question like "What should I do next?" can show you're open to adapting as needed.
Lastly, while you often acknowledge your teammates' efforts with expressions of gratitude like "Thank you," you could further strengthen your collaborative skills by engaging in richer two-way communication. This not only involves speaking but also listening and reacting constructively to your teammates' ideas and concerns. Unfortunately, your contributions in terms of conflict resolution, role adaptability, and feedback incorporation are not fully assessable due to limited interaction that could illustrate these skills. In future games, aim to actively engage in discussions around team strategies and roles, seek to understand different perspectives during conflicts, and offer your feedback while being receptive to that of others. Remember, teamwork thrives on each member's active participation, flexibility, and mutual support.
