Subject zunqi¡¯s Play Session Feedback
Hi zunqi,

On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice excellent behaviors that enhance your teamwork. The Synthesis Mission Brief contains your teamwork challenge for this week.

You've attended Play in 3 of the last 3 weeks.
Here¡¯s some feedback on your teamwork in Play in recent weeks:

You complete 78% of your attempted passes.
How well are you coordinating with your teammates?
You use 88% of your share of the team's allotted actions.
How many actions should each player take?
You contribute 28% of your teams¡¯ points.
On a team, what contribution should each teammate be making?
If you notice that some of your teamwork data is missing or showing at 0%, it is because you have yet to attend and participate in recent PLAY sessions for this game. We look forward to providing you with updated teamwork data as you attend more sessions in the future.

Teamwork Analysis
Zunqi, the graphs above show different ways that you have contributed to and coordinated with your teams in the various games. In addition to that data, we have noticed that you have continued to engage actively in team objectives, although there is room for clearer communication and strategic contribution. Statements such as "I'm gonna research the frogs" show your willingness to participate and contribute to team activities. However, phrases like "Oh god, I'm going to whatever room it is" can be unclear to teammates and may hinder collaborative efforts. To improve, you can focus on articulating your game plan more clearly, ensuring all teammates understand your intentions and actions. Your flexibility, a critical component of adaptability that was previously noted as a strength, remains a valuable asset. Your readiness to switch roles, as indicated by comments like "I'm gonna measure this, Stonks? Yes, stonks." is highly appreciated. However, at times, your role within the team context hasn't been fully clear. By communicating your role shifts more transparently, you can reinforce team understanding and efficiency, making you feel more integral to the team's operations. Additionally, being more assertive in your role within the team and ensuring your actions are anchored in the team's strategy will likely help in coordinating efforts more effectively. In terms of incorporating feedback, more can be done to demonstrate your responsiveness to teammates' suggestions. Before, you were good at acknowledging teammates with simple affirmations. Now, we would like to see you engaging directly with feedback. By asking questions like "What do you think my role should be now?" or saying, "I heard your idea, and I'll try that now," you can show an awareness of their input and integrate their insights into your actions. Overall, you show potential, Zunqi, and these areas provide further opportunities for you to develop your collaboration skills. Keep up the great work!

Communication Data

Reflection for zunqi: How does your voice % in the last 6 sessions compare to the first 6 sessions?
We are recalculating our voice metric data to generate a more accurate baseline. If the red baseline (average of all students) looks unusual this week it is due to those recalculations. Your child's average speaking time data is correct. This metric will be fully normalized by the next feedback cycle.

In a few weeks, we¡¯ll give you feedback on how you¡¯ve progressed on your teamwork skills after incorporating this email¡¯s insights. If your parent or guardian has any thoughts on this email, tell them they can fill out this 1-minute survey to keep on improving our session feedback.
To the stars (and Mars),
Josh Dahn, cofounder
