Hi Wei,
On the journey to make any team you¡¯re on better, you¡¯ll practice excellent behaviors that enhance your teamwork. The
Synthesis Mission Brief contains your teamwork challenge for this week.
You've attended Play in
3 of the last 3 weeks. Here¡¯s some feedback on your teamwork in that time:
|
Your distribution in green compared to the average of all students in red.
How are you using your AP to contribute to the team goals?
|
|
You use your pops to build structures 63% of the time.
How does it impact your team when your pops aren't actively building?
|
If you notice that some of your teamwork data is missing or showing at 0%, it is because you have yet to attend and participate in recent PLAY sessions for this game. We look forward to providing you with updated teamwork data as you attend more sessions in the future.

Teamwork Analysis
Wei, the graphs above show different ways that you have contributed to and coordinated with your teams in the various games. In addition to that data, we have noticed that you often take an active role in initiating strategy within your team. You are great at starting discussions and making sure that everyone knows the plan. For example, you often clarify situations for your teammates by directly managing team resources or assignments, such as "Can I get a satellite because there's a lot of uninhabitables [planets] in this place." However, sometimes your communication could be clearer to avoid confusion. For example, when you said, "I'm like confused of what happened," it might help to ask specific questions or suggest potential solutions to keep team strategy sharp and focused.
In different situations, you adapt well by shifting your role to meet the team's needs. You're flexible, stepping into various tasks from strategic planning as seen when you took charge by saying, "I am going to defend. This is more good for defending and attacking." It's excellent that you're willing to engage in different team roles. To develop this skill further, consider offering to take on roles that others might be overlooking, which could help ensure all team responsibilities are covered.
You're getting better at incorporating feedback from your teammates, which is crucial for team alignment and improvement. When teammates make suggestions or the game changes, you sometimes adapt your strategy accordingly, such as when you responded, "Yeah, there we go. Good job, Carl. You can do it. You can do it," acknowledging and encouraging your teammate's efforts. To enhance this area even more, try to consistently ask for input from your teammates and show that you are incorporating their ideas into the team's strategy. This will not only improve your team's performance but also boost the overall group morale.
Overall, Wei, you're doing well in leading discussions and adapting to team needs. By focusing a bit more on how you can simplify your communication and consistently include teammate feedback, you'll further strengthen your effectiveness as a collaborative team player. Keep up the good work, and remember that every game is an opportunity to refine these skills!
