This week, Synthesis invites students to explore two essential questions: What does it mean to win? And how do you truly succeed? In Hyperball, students articulate their own definitions of success—strategy, communication, coordination, and quick thinking. In the “Winning At All Cost” discussion, they’ll face situations where winning requires real sacrifice, forcing them to weigh goals against their values. It’s not just skill-building—it’s a deep dive into mindset and meaning.

In the world of Hyperball, there’s no one-size-fits-all formula for winning. So this week, we flipped the script and asked the students: What does it take to win? They identified communication, teamwork, strategy, quick thinking, and adaptive planning as essential. To earn the Hyperball trophy, students must listen to each other, share ideas, and adjust plans on the fly. The best teams aren’t the strongest individuals—they’re the ones who stick together.
